His fondest memories at Booth are of team winning the New Venture Challenge'2012 business plan competition and that of organizing the TEDxUChicago 2013 conference. His interest in entrepreneurship drew him to Silicon Valley and Apple Inc, where he spent a summer in their worldwide sales and operations group. After graduation, Akshay joined McKinsey & Co in San Francisco where he works with leading tech companies, consulting with them on strategy and operations challenges. Apart from work, Akshay has been advising the United Way of Bay Area on strategic issues and is exploring the natural beauty in and around San Francisco.
